Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AQuire ("AQuire," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use AQ Techniques, the gated clinical technique-video library at library.askaquire.com, together with the related account, player, and services (the "Service"). It does not cover the separate AQuire course platform or any clinic that uses these techniques in patient care. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to give you access and run the Service:

  • ·Account information: your name, the email used for your course purchase, your profession, and an optional license number.
  • ·Account credentials: your password is handled by our authentication provider and is stored in a hashed form; we never see or store it in plain text.
  • ·Payment information: your card is processed and stored by our payment processor, not by us. We retain only a processor token, the card brand, the last four digits, and your billing status, so we can show your card on file and manage renewals.
  • ·Entitlement and purchase records: which technique library you can access, your plan, and your renewal or expiry dates.
  • ·Usage information: videos viewed, playback progress, and sign-in events, used to run the player and keep your account secure.
  • ·Technical information: IP address, device and browser type, and server log data used to deliver the Service and protect it from abuse.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to create and secure your account; to verify your entitlement and unlock the technique library matched to your purchase; to stream video and remember your progress; to process payments, renewals, and receipts; to send transactional email about your access, renewals, and account; to provide support; to detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not use your content or activity to train, fine-tune, or develop any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model.

3. Service providers we rely on

We share information only with the vendors that operate the Service. Each is bound by its own terms and may use the information only to provide its service to us:

  • ·Supabase: authentication and database for your account profile, credentials, and entitlements.
  • ·Stripe: payment processing, stored cards, subscriptions, and receipts. Your full card number is handled by Stripe under PCI standards and is never stored on our servers.
  • ·Bunny Stream: secure video hosting and token-signed playback, so videos play only for entitled, signed-in clinicians.
  • ·Resend: delivery of transactional email about your account and access.
  • ·Vercel: application hosting, content delivery, and security logging.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Cookies and tracking

The Service uses only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure. It is a private, gated application: it is not indexed by search engines, and it does not run advertising networks, social-media pixels, or cross-site tracking. Where required, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale or sharing.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only:

  • ·With service providers: as described in Section 3, to operate the Service.
  • ·For legal reasons: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Service, our users, and others.
  • ·In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and entitlement records while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes. Payment records are retained by our payment processor under its own schedule. You can ask us to delete your account as described in Section 7.

7. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you rights over your personal information. In the past twelve months we have collected these categories: identifiers (name, email), professional information (profession, license), commercial information (purchases and entitlements), internet or other activity (playback and sign-in records), and, through our payment processor, financial information. We collect these for the business purposes described in Section 2. We have not sold or shared personal information.

You have the right to:

  • ·Know and access: the personal information we hold about you.
  • ·Correct: inaccurate personal information.
  • ·Delete: your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • ·Opt out: of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we honor GPC signals where required.
  • ·Non-discrimination: we will not deny service or charge you differently for exercising these rights.

To exercise a right, sign in to your account or write to the AQuire Support team at hello@askaquire.com. We verify requests through your account email before acting on them. You may use an authorized agent, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.

8. Security

We protect the Service with encrypted connections, signed and time-limited video tokens, role-based access controls, and credentials handled by our authentication and payment providers rather than stored by us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

9. Data location and international users

The Service is operated in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your location.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is for licensed and credentialed clinicians and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows when it last changed, and your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Policy.

12. Contact

Questions about this Policy or your information can be sent to the AQuire Support team at hello@askaquire.com.
